Tammy Jersey, Chief Executive Officer

Tammy helps leaders become their best selves—people others genuinely want to work with. For more than 20 years, she has coached CEOs and executive teams to increase their impact by leading with clarity, curiosity, and trust. Her work blends sharp business insight with practical behavior strategies that drive meaningful, lasting change. Coaching clients gain self-awareness and the “how-to’s” needed to put that awareness into action.

She is also widely known for delivering game-changing leaders for companies in record time. Executive search clients rely on Tammy and her team to quickly understand their leadership needs and cultural nuances so they can recruit outstanding leaders who stay for the long term. She doesn’t conduct “plain vanilla” searches—she’s hired to find the placements her clients don’t know where to look for.

When teams feel misaligned or stuck, Tammy’s Organizational Reset Sessions help clear the air, rebuild trust, and restore clarity. She co-leads this work with her twin sister, Tracy, combining leadership coaching and strategic facilitation to create real alignment, stronger communication, and more engaged, higher-performing teams.

  • Her clients have included GE, McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Cleary Gottlieb, L Catterton, American Securities, and New York Life, among many others.

Across all her services, Tammy’s goal is the same: to solve her clients’ toughest talent challenges so they can focus on hitting their growth goals.

Her actionable strategies address some of the most difficult leadership challenges, including delivering tough messages effectively, inspiring others to support a vision, becoming recognized as a strategic thought partner, and reducing tension in difficult relationships. Her direct, no-nonsense style removes any guesswork about how others perceive a leader—while her empathetic approach makes behavior change easier and more sustainable. Over time, those new behaviors become part of a leader’s natural DNA.

Tammy founded TKJ Leadership as a certified woman-owned business and has served on the boards and executive committee of Temple Israel in Westport, CT, as well as the HBS Network of Women Alumnae. As one client put it, “Tammy is known for taking a block of cement and turning it into moldable clay.”

Michael Bruno, Partner

Michael has spent his career helping companies find and develop leaders who truly move the needle, and he brings that same focus to every search. As a former CHRO turned executive search partner with TKJ Leadership, he understands great leadership from the inside out.

As CEO of his own business, he speaks his clients’ language—resulting in searches that are focused, precise, quickly completed, and aligned with shifting marketplace needs.

Michael delivers high-impact hires and strengthens leadership benches. His approach blends rigorous assessment of caliber and culture fit with the judgment of someone who has “lived at the top of the house.” Alongside Tammy, he helps organizations build world-class, agile management teams, navigate change, and align talent with business strategy and performance.

Clients trust him because his results last. He has helped organizations hit their targets, strengthen leadership teams, and earn recognition on Fortune’s Best 100 Companies to Work For and Most Admired Company lists.

Michael lives in Sea Girt, NJ, with his wife. They have three grown children, and when he’s not building teams, he’s likely on a pickleball court.
